Professionalization and Social Impact of European Political Science

Peter Csanyi has a Ph.D. in Political Science. He is currently a Vice-Chair for International Relations/Projects in the Department of Political Science at Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, Slovakia. He teaches Comparative Politics, Theory of Political Systems, European Union and International Relations at graduate and undergraduate levels. His research interest covers political systems of Central and Western European countries, comparative politics, international and transatlantic relations. Prior to that he was the Vice-Director for International Relations at the Institute of Political Science of Pan European University. He has given lectures at several European and American universities and has involved in several national and international projects. He is also a General Editor of an international journal – Journal of Comparative Politics (www.jofcp.org). He is a member of Slovak Association for Political Science (SAPS), Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA) and Southern Political Science Association (SPSA).
