Professionalization and Social Impact of European Political Science

Morten Kallestrup, PhD, is an associate professor at the Department of Political Science and Public Management, University of Southern Denmark. He is the vice-head of department, responsible for the department’s study programmes, and head of the study board for the political science, journalism, sociology and European study programmes at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. His research interests include public administration and policy-making processes, EU and international regulation, Europeanization of national politics and policies, and political decision-making processes and strategic negotiation. His latest research publications focus on political processes in EU standardization policy, ICT regulation, EU trade policy and parliamentarism, Europeanization, and negotiation simulations in political science education. He is a former government official responsible for, among others, national representation in negotiations on EU Single Market regulation.
