Professionalization and Social Impact of European Political Science

Ilze Balcere holds a doctoral degree in Comparative Politics from University of Latvia. She is lecturer at The University of Latvia and research fellow at The Advanced Institute for Social and Political Research. She also teaches courses about research design and comparative politics. She has participated in various international research projects dealing with populism, democracy and coalition governments. Her research interests include populism, intra-party democracy and coalition formation.
