Professor at the Institute for the Study of Societies and Knowledge at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Her main interests are in the field of elite, risks and intercultural relations. She has published more than 70 articles. She is the author of “The Economic Elite in the 1990-s – Continuity and Change”, (2003, Sofia: Institute of Sociology, BAS) and is an editor of “Through the Eyes of Swiss Social Sciences” (1999, Sofia: Acad.
