Kire Sharlamanov is PhD in Sociology; since 2010 he has been in the International Balkan University, first as an Assistant professor at the faculty of Communications and presently as an Associate Professor at the faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

He has published two books in the fiend of sociology: Micro-Sociological Theories of Communication and Communication in Political Campaign. His researches interest includes interest groups, political parties and political ideologies.
